Her name is Robin…and I seriously love her to pieces.
As I type this, she is sitting next to me on the couch, while we watch Off The Map and wait for our nails to dry from the manicures we gave ourselves.
She’s pretty awesomesauce….she’s more like a sister. I’m beyond lucky to have her. We went through a period where we didn’t talk…but that’s a whole other story.
She gets me, though. We are totally comfortable being around each other, which I find amazing. There really isn’t much point to this post, except to AW (attention whore) her out.
You see, she is going through a divorce…while pregnant.
Most people would have curled up in this situation and just gave up. Not Robin…nuh-uh, buddy. She is holding up amazingly well…I’m shocked at how well she is doing. And she’s 22 weeks pregnant and still holding herself up high.
I cannot tell you how much I admire this chica.
I’m so incredibly grateful to God for her. I truly am. I can’t wait for her daughter, GraceLynn, to grace (haha!) us with her presence, because that kid is going to have one of the most amazing mommies EVER.
And a pretty cool auntie as well, but I digress.
That’s pretty much it…but before I sign off, let me share a picture or two with you…even though I’m sure Robin is going to murder me for posting them…that is, IF her pregnant booty can catch me ;)
